  • What’s New

    • Introducing Gallery view inspired by the iconic iTunes Cover Flow. Scroll through each artwork in a seamless and beautiful mode.

    • Added artworks from Kazimir Malevich, Frida Kahlo, and more, bringing the Collection to 108 pieces. I curate each one and triple check for accuracy; quality over quantity!

    • New Immersive (and artwork) for “Portrait of Bindo Altoviti” (c. 1515) by Raphael.

    • New repositories in the Locations map view, including Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria.

    • Advanced settings for Collection and Gallery. Customize how you view and interact with artwork, such as showing the title and artist below each piece.

    • No Favorites? Get inspired on discovering a new favorite artwork with a new default empty view.

    • Search results now shows Favorited and Checkmarked artworks at a quick glance.

    Version 1.2. 1 (Minor Update)

    • Added missing Checkmark button to the Featured expanded view.

    • Improved Immersive for the painting "The Starry Night" (1889) by Vincent van Gogh.

  • What’s New

    • Five stunning new artworks in the Collection. Dive in to explore the latest additions!

    • New Immersive from a favorite artist of mine, Henri Rousseau's "The Sleeping Gypsy" (1897).

    • Checkmark button to keep track of artworks you’ve already explored. Find it next to Favorite button.

    • Filter option in the Collection to hide artworks you’ve marked as seen. Need to "brush up"? Simply toggle the Filter button to display again.

    • Tip Jar added under About if you’d like to support indie developers such as myself! Optional of course – the app remains completely free nonetheless.

    Improved

    • Exiting Immersive environments now defaults to the Immersive tab instead of Featured.

    • Decluttered the Location map view for a smoother, cleaner user experience.

    Fixed

    • Audio Guide no longer autoplays at app launch or when opening artworks, except within Immersive environments. Peace and quiet restored!

    • Added missing Audio Guide for "American Gothic" (1930) by Grant Wood .

    • "The Scream" (1893) by Edvard Munch was mislabeled at the National Gallery in London. It has been corrected to its rightful home at the National Museum in Oslo.

    • Artist Giotto now showing profile information.

    • Obligatory "minor bug fixes and improvements" but yes that too.

    Version 1.1.1 (Minor Update)

    • Fixed bug where a small number of artworks were unresponsive to button actions.

    • Added this new “About” section at launch to learn about updates.

    • Restored “Woman Walking in an Exotic Forest” (1905) by Henri Rousseau.
